When Phoebe and Mike first met, they realized they had something in common - a love of food, and a dream to start a food truck business.
Phoebe, a foodie at heart, longed to take culinary skills learned from her mother at a young age, and combine them with her 30 years business background to start a food truck serving up fresh food. And Mike, a chef with decades of experience in catering, enjoyed what he did, but often felt stifled by the inherent challenges of the field, which was how to prepare and serve creatively inspired food at the pinnacle of freshness.
So with Phoebe’s desire to own a food truck, paired with Mike’s love of appetizers and passion for serving food at its peak of freshness, “Amuse Bus” was born.
“Amuse Bus” is a play on the culinary term “amuse bouche” which roughly translates to “amuse the mouth”, which is precisely what Mike and Phoebe are on a mission to do!
